What we collect
When you contact us we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and the contents of your message. Our website host and analytics tools collect standard technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring site.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, provide our services, improve our website, and, where you have asked us to, keep you informed about Koso. We do not sell personal information. We do not buy marketing lists.
Who we share it with
Service providers we use to run Koso: website hosting, email (Google Workspace), analytics, and our CRM. Some providers store data outside Australia, for example in the United States. We share information with no one else unless the law requires it.
Client project data
When we build or operate systems for clients, the client owns their data. We act on the client's instructions, protect it with reasonable security measures, and hand it over or delete it on request and at the end of an engagement.
Security and retention
We protect personal information with access controls, encryption in transit, and credential management. We keep enquiry records while they are useful for the purpose collected, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@koso.au. If you believe we have mishandled your information you can complain to us first, and to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
